The Geico commercials with the kid Loren Wallace are hilarious, I like them like Sugar Toast.
Sui Generis anyone?

Ah the great silence, that of course being the time between the old testament and the new testament. As for that and as for this then I digress or something about blah blah blah I am getting off subject, and about right now I should say something along the line of I digress.
Well today marks a new milestone in my life, I finally learned today how to spell wednesday right. Believe it I had been spelling it wrong all of these years, so how about that, the Lord is gracious is a very little thing and I now know how to spell wednesday right.
I had spring break over the last week and I had a very good a refreshing time, i got to spend time with my Friend Graham Harms, you might know him from such films as Seize the day and Somewhere out There. That was tuesday but oh wait I was not done yet oh no sir you better believe it I was not done.
Wednesday Night I call my friend Bethany Ruby because I had heard news of a track meet being going on at the happening or the it was going to be and it was running no pun intended but it was going to be on the next day or tomorrow as I called it on that yesterday. Anyways I called and she told me that it had gotten cancelled because of snow and that Tim was coming to pick her up from College and so one thing eventually led to another ( no drinks involved) and I ended up picking up the girls and getting to go out to lunch with them and Kiah my sister and Heidi Hildebrant and her dad, and we ate Chinese and I am not even chinese. Anyways it was a fun time there but yet the fun went on.
Thursday night i stayed at the ruby's , and for the record my friend Tim Ruby was there so it was not inappropriate, but I digree and I am getting off subject. So I got to spend time with the whole Ruby clan and it was awesome to see Tim again.
But as they say all good things are a penny saved, so I ended up going to see my Friend Jason Gray and his Family, and that was amazing.
I got up there about a little before about 2 and I played some Wii with Jacob and Kipper and they both properly whooped on me. But then we went to the Good Friday service at the Church of the Open door and I saw a girl that looked like Julia Shultz but it ended up not being her. But more than that it was a great service, going over the last 7 things that Jesus said while he was on the cross and the worship and music was very moving and it was a great reminder of who I have placed my faith in and what it cost my Savior.
Side note, I enjoyed Punch Pizza, so yes I give it a kudus.
So after the service we traversed back to Janesville, the town of renowned rockstar Jason Gray.
We listed and jammed to really good tune the whole way back. And once we got back we got some awesome snacks prepared by Taya ( Nurse Taya) and she made me a awesome drink, but it was non-alchoholic because friends don't let friends drive a penny saved. We played Scotland Yard and Jacob put up a heroic effort but we eventually caught the elusive and evil Mr. X.
We watch Stranger that Fiction which was a movie that I will see again and I even recommended it to my parents because it seems like a movie that they would enjoy. I know I did.
All in all my spring break was a really good time and a blessing from the Lord because of the encouragement and refreshment that I got from being around these people.
Also Jason Gray, yeah buy the CD and represent.
Steve Carrel!?

And I'm back din and din a din a, for those of you who don't know that is off an Eminem song, and, oh wait, I already used that intro, well then... ummm, well hello my name is Andrew Vik, you kill my father, prepare to die, ok also not working, so skip lame intro and lets get into the rest of the blog post.
Well then, the big news is I get to see Tim Ruby tomorrow who is one of the sweetest coolest guys you will ever meet.
Gas rose to 112$ a barrel today, and if Gas goes above 125 a barrel and stays there for more than 2 weeks then drilling in Alaska will start to take place, but in an eviromentally friendly way.
Well then, the big news is I get to see Tim Ruby tomorrow who is one of sweetest coolest guys you will ever meet.
Well then, the big news is that i found out I suffer from short term memory loss today but usually I can't even remember I have it.
Well then, the big news is that I should never have used that joke, sheesh. peace.
Andrew Vik.

The story continues and maybe even evolves.
And I'm back din and din a din a, for those of you who don't know that is off an Eminem song I heard 12 times a year or so ago, and for those of you who are wondering... no I do not endorse rap, but I have rapped freestyle style a few times but I did get my butt kicked pretty good the one time.
Ok so today I discovered an awesome song, it is by MGMT and it is called Time to Pretend and I am diggin it like a gravedigger after a running of the bulls at a senior citizens center.
Now Page Two: on to venting, I would have to say that it is really annoying to no end (until it ends) when people don't use their blinkers when they turn, and sometimes I want to shake my fist at them but then I don't because that's not what I'm about.
What am I about? well... here goes
1. Finding Joy in Christ, I believe that Christ wants us to have joy abundantly and to teach us in our Joy but I think that all too often we have to get down to the depths of dispair and depression when there is no where left to go before we are willing to allow Christ to teach us, so I am endevoring to not let my pride get in the way of the Lord teaching me when things are going well because like I said I don't think that Christ wants to teach us in our sorry as much as He would like to teach and bless in our Joy.... now as to sustaining that joy? Well I just need to keep reminding myself that nothing on earth is capable of bringing me as much joy as a relationship with Christ can. The ol John Piper is a good read on this catigory.
2. I like to play sports and to be active, and I have a extremly huge competitive drive, one that comes equipped with no safty mechanism to tell me when to stop going, normal peoples brains tell then "hey don't go diving into the bike at the corner of the garage just to score a touchdown in a pick up game of football" but mine, nothing doing, and so I got a pretty big scar to show for that. Taming a competitive nature and competing in a Christ like manner with Grace and humility is a hard thing to figure out, but it something that is acheivable, and something that i strive for.
3. I love music, it is a great passion of mine, but i am finding that some genres just don't have much to offer me, so I have been trying to give up on Heavy Metal.
4. really that was mainly what I had but here is a list of things that give me simple joy
- Sunshine - just seeing the sun can pull me out of a depressive slump
- A full moon when the snow is on the ground, I think could honestly be just about my favorite sight in the world.
- Sitting around talking with families
- Just goofing off and doing something that completly ammuses no one but myself
- The Song, Move Along by the All American Rejects, everytime I hear it I feel just a little better.
And yeah... how about that?
Yason?
No it's Jason!
Yason?
Jason!
Yason

On with the show (blog)
I am at the moment writing a paper for my sociology class and the paper is about homeschooling, and how if you were homeschooled you are a loser. Actually my paper isn't that mean, but seriously, homeschool? Lets get real.
Well that was just an inside joke with myself, because i found it very funny.
Now on a serious note, gas rose to over 1o8$ a barrel today.
Now on a lighter note, I was thinking today and.... HOlY CRAP its Geraldo.
Ah well Bien, I will say this is that and that is all and all is now done and I am done now, with that and this... WHOOSH! over you head and below your knees I am guessing? Well not to worry I wrote it on the fly ( actually a keyboard) and I can definately say that....
